You are looking at one of my favourite destinations in the world. I love South Korea. Even more than in Japan (although I like the food there better). But South Korea has an amazing vibe. Seoul is so clean and beautiful. I cannot forget the gorgeous trees, yellow and orange in...

Expensive as shit! I thought it couldn’t be worse than Tokyo (although the only thing super expensive there was the stay). But I felt that almost everything in general was expensive in Hong Kong - stay, food, groceries, souvenirs, transportation and even alcohol. But I loved the fact that a lot of places in Hong Kong are free to visit. It is just lovely! It befits a great city. And it's not just the natural parks and the wilderness that are accessible to everyone. But also museums, parks, monasteries and several tourist attractions. So if you want to save a few dollars on tickets, here are a few places and things in Hong Kong that you can visit for free.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text="1. Victoria Peak" use_theme_fonts="yes" css=".vc_custom_1696255443106{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}"][vc_column_text]Victoria Peak will always top the list of things to do in Hong Kong. It is one of the oldest and most premium neighbourhoods of Hong Kong and gives a great view of the island and the harbour. You should not miss it. But as advertised, the most common way to reach Victoria Peak is by The Peak Tram, a century-old tramway to the top. You don’t have to do the same.  A more fun and absolutely free way to explore Victoria Peak is by hiking to the top. It takes about an hour to do the hike from the base. The hiking trail is easy to follow. You can stop at several points as the aerial view of the city starts to get better. You can also carry some food with you. On the top, you can walk around the Peak Circle trail and visit the Victoria Gardens. All of them are free to visit and explore as well. Read our article to learn more about how to travel to Victoria Peak, Hong Kong.

The hotels cost a bomb and so does food. On top of that, I hate excessively urbanised cities (I am looking at you Singapore and Dubai). But I was surprised by Hong...

Oh, I have wondered when this time will come. And I have tons of information because you will need tons of information. Tokyo is a megacity! Something like you have never seen before. And here I thought Bangkok was quite something. If you are travelling to Tokyo,...

And i have repeatedly heard from people that it is one of their favorite city in the world. Of course there are few who hate it completely, but you cannot deny its popularity. It's...

Gardens by the Bay is the poster child of Singapore. It does seem to speak a lot about their vision and sustainable efforts. But what are Gardens by the Bay? It is a garden for sure. But you know there is more...

And, like Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is a much-underrated city. Bangkok and Bali get all the eyes from the tourists. On the other hand, Singapore steals the show with its glamorous skyline. Tourists often overlook Kuala Lumpur. But why? Maybe you think that there isn’t much...

Singapore is known more of a financial hub or a destination for expats to work. It is only a recent development where Singapore has invested heavily to push tourism. They have built the ultra-modern, most futuristic version of tourist attractions...
